Marathon

The City of Marathon in the Florida Keys is mostly located on Vaca Key, but actually encompasses several islands in the middle of the Florida Key chain including Marathon Key, Knight’s Key, Long Point Key, Boot Key, Crawl Key, Pigeon Key, Duck Key, Grassy Key, and Conch Key.  Its location in the middle of the Florida Keys chain and its glistening waters, laid-back, family-friendly island attitude, and world-class fishing, dining, scuba, and water sports have earned Marathon the reputation of the “Heart of the Keys”.
